Anyone else have a really annoying ringing noise coming from the engine?

I just picked up a 2016 last week and its been making it ever since I drove it off the lot. I thought it might just be a new truck noise and hoped it would go away. I now have 1100 kms on the truck and it has not gone away.

It happens when there is about 20-30% load on the engine. Both towing and unloaded. Its louder with the window rolled down and its defiantly coming from the drivers side. It does it at all speeds.

I can also make the sound when I put the truck in park and rev the engine. Rpm doesn't matter, it seems to be more related to % of throttle pressed.

I have not taken it to the dealer yet as I have not had time.

Im hoping that I will at least have some idea as to what the problem is before bringing it in there.

Hopefully someone can help, Im getting tired of wearing headphones in my brand new truck lol

Other than that I love this truck. Plenty of power for carrying my 3000lb camper through the mountains.

 

No help here, my 16 is quiet but that too could be a concern with yours.

 

I would get it to the dealer ASAP.
