Ok folks, my new to me excursion has an issue I found, When running the AC, the cold air is coming from the lower and windshield ducts and a tad bit from the dash ports, now when I get to a stop light after hiway riding, with my foot on the brake, the ac works fine in the dash vents, then once I drive on after the light turns back green, it goes back to the other vents once I get up to 1800 rpm's. Sounds like a vac. issue, anyone got any idea's or have this happen before? Any help is appreciated.
OK I got a few mssg's about this. I ended up checking all the lines and connections, all were good, BUT, when I bypassed the reservoir box, it worked ok, only when I accelerated did it go back and default to defroster, however, once I got up to speed and no longer accelerating a lot, it went back to normal, so, for example if I am at 35mph it works fine, and then when I accelerate to 70 everything works good except during the acceleration, at which time it goes away and then comes back once at speed. So I assume its the vac. reservoir box, Agreed?
