Brake box behind drivers side wheel
I would like to thank everyone for all the help that has gotten me through my truck build thus far. I am now into the wiring stage of the project and I am curious about this brake box. There is a generation gap between the two trucks that I am marrying together, one is an 85 bullnose f-250 with a 7.3 idi out of an 88 f-250. This truck had no title when I bought it, so I took the body off of my 90 f-150 and put it on that frame. The wiring harness I kept from the 90 to keep my interior items working, but the brake box has a different style connection on the 85. It has 2 wires coming out of the connector, while my 90 has 4 and has round style connector that comes directly out of the brake box on the frame and hooks into the wiring harness. I was wondering if the 2 that come out of the 85 was 1 hot wire, and 1 ground or are they wired to 2 different things. I heard the wires coming out run the brake lights. Anybody have any useful info for me?

got a picture? there is no "brake box" wiring other than the brake light switch on the pedal.
i think you are talking about the RABS valve on the frame under the driver seat on the 90 frame?
if so, you don't need it because the 85 had a different system.
