Ford Cd's

I have the ford iso cd's for 1999 & 2002 on my xp machine. Trying to install on win 7. When I click on install says program is incompatible. Also using winrar370.
Is it the iso file or winrar, 7 doesn't like. Or am I screwing something else up.

It's Win 7 that's the problem if its the 64 bit version.

I had to install a VMware virtual machine on my Win 7-64 laptop, then install Win XP on the VM, then install the Ford CDs in that environment. It took some work to set up, but I have all the CD & DVD ISOs installed (as virtual disks) and it now works great.

This would be a good reason to keep an old XP machine around without connecting it to the internet.

Thud, there only for 1999 & 2002. Can't remember where I found them, thought it was on this site but maybe not. If you can't find them I can send them.

did you try compatibility mode? with windows 7 (pro, ultimate, or enterprise), you can also run xp mode without going through the trouble of installing vmware. and you get the virtual app ability so you can still launch the program from your win 7 start menu.
