A few problems you may know a fix for.
1997/4.6/auto/4x4/lots of features.
Three questions:
1: Shift selector is loose, almost not positive. (where is that located)
2: Outside mirrors. Move-Right switch don't work. Left is OK.
3: Gauzy headlight covers!
What do you do to get them clear again?

Get under the dash and look at the arm bolted to the shift tube. Is it loose?

On the mirrors, physically move them to the opposite side, (clicking will be heard) unless the movement is frozen..
Will the switch move them from that position back?
If yes, slow or some other action the switch is good and the mirror may need lubrication to free it up from age and dryness.
If no, the switch should be verified bad with a meter before replacing it.

On the head light covers, an auto parts store should have a restore kit. Follow directions and a little elbow grease and the covers will come clear unless they are 'crazed' with fine cracks.
This means you will use a rubbing compound to get to a new smooth surface before doing a polish job.
