A4LD Trans Question

Is the bellhousing bolt pattern for an A4LD out of a 2.3L 4 cyl the same as a 2.9L V6?
My trans went south. A friend has one out of a Ranger 2.9L V6
the price is right if it will bolt up to my 4 cyl.

I don't believe they are but I not sure about it.

A4LD Trans Question

The bolt patterns are not the same but the bellhousings are removable and you can swap the old one (along with the pump attached to the back) to the new tranny.
