I recently discovered a crack in the exhaust manifold of the 302 I swapped into my F250. Rather then replace the damaged piece with another manifold, I'm wanting to install some full length headers.
The problem I am going to have is in relation to the drivers side header exit location. I swapped my 2wd C6 with a ZF5 and an NP205 case, but since the 205 is much more compact then the original chain drive cases that came from the factory I'm anticipating some clearance issues. Im assuming the driveshaft will try to occupy the same location as the drivers side header collector.
Has anyone used the 302 headers designed for the 80-96 trucks after an NP205 swap? If anyone could get some measurments or pictures of the drivers side header exit that would be EXTREMELY helpful.
