I was palnning on a left over 14 later this year but this may fit the bill...
It appears to be still under warranty, but my worry is that it's a job 1 2011 and I'm skittish about potential problems. I may look at it saturday and ask for a OASIS report. Any other suggestions or should I wait and buy new??? Either way this'll be my first diesel and the plan is for it to be the last truck we buy...
I'd bet the time is just about out of warranty or early, My 2011 was built the last month of 10 and it's out of warranty by time only, not distance like the one in the add. appears to be a nice truck.
You may as well buy a new 2014 for what they want for that truck. Nice as it is, I'd pass unless they dropped the price some and offered an extended warranty with it.
They have their retail listed at $47,177 but their sell price is listed higher at $47,900. So their deal price is higher than retail? Their retail price is accurate but like others have said, new seems like a better option. And if you plan on keeping it forever, buy the newest you can afford. In 5 years a 2011 model is all of a sudden close to 10 years old. Granted, it will last and still be a great truck but you'll have a warranty longer. I agree about the dealer adding a warranty for their asking price. And then some.
That's a great looking truck, and while you could get an extended warranty; for the money they're asking, you might as well buy new.
I wouldn't bat an eye to hop on a plane if I found THE truck I wanted, if the price was right due to regional pricing fluctuations or whatever, and drive it home. They make excellent road-trip rigs
I dont have a KR but I bought a 2011 lariat crew cab brand new for less then that.It was a leftover that I bought in june of 2012 (job2).I agree with the others on this unless you got it for SIGNIFICANTLY less. The add also must be a miss print.Retail is less then the selling price?Doesnt make sense.
Wow, looks my '11 king ranch is holding its value very well. I would wait and try and find a new 14, incentives will be huge soon if you can find one you want on a lot.
just checking kbb and nada... there a little higher than it should be.. if you can get them 2 come down some.. I think it's a nice truck....1 ton KR CC 4wd with less than 30k miles... it's all in what you want...don't think you could go wrong either way! ext warranty always bring piece of mind!
I paid $53k recently for a new '14 F250 KR FX4 loaded except for rear heat seats, tailgate step and chrome package. I would hold out for a good deal on a '14.
FWIW, I paid about 8k less than that for a '12 lariat that was loaded (pretty much every option except moonroof) that had 40k miles.
Even though I got a much better price than this one, I think if I did it again I'd probably save my sheckles and buy new, these trucks hold their value and I've found a few things here and there post purchase that indicate it wasn't looked after as well as I would have liked.
