I can't find such a thing in the 1980/89 Light Truck Master Parts Catalog, which can mean:

1) They were for sedans, in which case hope that ND Bill stops by, or

2) This truck parts catalog is incomplete (I know it's missing at least a few pages here and there)

IIRC, I had a 1980 F250 SCab (the light duty one) that used those. You could put 15" hubcaps on the 16.5 rims.

Likely that is an engineering number, not a part number.
The AA suffix is a revision.
By the first four digits of the number it was originally designed for a 1985 truck.

The number found on the part is an engineering number.
The number to order the part is different.

Bill (NumberDummy) could tell you.
My netbook has no optical drive to read my parts CD.

Right, it's an Engineering ID number and not a part number. But...

E5TA - the E5 means it was designed in 1985, the TA means it's a truck chassis part
If it were a Service (replacement) Part Number, the E5TA would be E5TZ, instead.)

The AA at the end is just the revision number

But the 1A090 is the Group number, and I'm not finding any mention of that in my catalog. Maybe Bill will stop by....

But the 1A090 is the ID engineering basic number, and I'm not finding any mention of that in my catalog. You won't.
1A090 is the ID engineering basic number for 1210 trim ring.

I couldn't find a cross reference for E5TA-1A090-AA. It might be E5TZ-1210-A (see parts catalog applications).

It's not E3TZ-1210-C because I found its ID number, which is: E3TA-1A090-AA.

btw: You don't need trim rings to install hubcaps, but you do need them to install wheel covers. People tend confuse hubcaps with wheel covers, hubcaps only cover the center of the wheel.

1972/79 F250/350: In order to install D2AZ-1130-J 15" LTD wheel covers on 16" wheels, D2TZ-1210-A trim ring was snapped on first, then the 15" wheel cover was snapped onto the trim ring.

It was kind of odd seeing a F250/350 with full wheel covers at first. I was used to seeing those with nothing but the "dog dish" hub caps. Of course, that was in days when a person only bought a F250/350 because they actually *needed* that much truck, not because it was the "in" thing to do, or a status symbol........

Correct, Bill, wheel covers is what I had. They were the 15" LTD style.

I've got those "rings" on my 86 F250 SCab. Use the same 15" wheel covers.
