I have a 07 f250 super duty with 171,300 miles When I start it there is a lot of valve rattle. It is a gasoline engine. as soon as oil pressure is up (10-15) seconds it runs as quiet and smooth as a new one. Any Answers ?

Reason: Left out fuel usage.
My 04 did the same thing. I have 180K on it. I couldn't tell you when I first started noticing it. Always wrote it off as valve chatter or the lifters before they built up oil pressure.
Turns out it was the timing chain tensioners. One tensioner failed causing the chain to come lose and destroy the guides and cover. It was a miracle it didn't jump off the cam gear.
If you haven't already, I strongly advise having them replaced.
