Looking for a new xplorer
She likes her Explorers and well was wondering about any major issues for them from 2012 to 2014?
Looked at the Infinity but the CVT tranny was a big hitter for issues and the Durango wow they forgot the definition of quality....not sure about the Buick Enclave; did not find any big hitters.
We really want a luxury SUV for interstate travel and it will also go out in the gravel and country roads here at home. Cooper AT3 tires here we come!
Unless you folks have another SUV you all would recommend I should take a look at it would be appreciated!
Thanks
C-man
but the wife's Sport is a nice car --- quick, comfortable, handles well, gets about 20 mpg around dfw... tried to get her to look at the reg exp, but she liked the sport... so

good luck ! and if you test drive the sport, HANG ONTO the steering wheel if you blast thru 1st to 2nd - it WILL jerk the steering wheel outta your hands if not ready for it ! 365hp and 350 lbft torque stock

While all wheel drive,
it's has a heavy bias to the front and torque steer lives between 1st and 2nd !!!
I also looked at the Lexus RX 350's, no real serious mechanical issues. Same with the CV9.
After many weeks and having to loose my grip on the Infinity JX35 due to the CVT tranny issues.....looks like we will be looking at these three....
...glad you like the giddy up on the sport cause the AWD option here in Texas with Cooper AT3 tires will come in handy. Most all rifle ranges and hog hunting areas are loaded are with hedge rose so those wimpy azz street tires will get shredded rather quickly Ha...
Have a good week....C-man...
