Right on Woody. I spoke with Timothy the other night and we are good to go.
We are shooting for around 9 Sat. We will tent camp and Timothy is bringing his travel trailer.
We hope to get a full day on Sat. and some trail time on Sunday too.
I'm considering trailering my jeep too. I think it's not offroading unless you break something and I have a feeling I'll break something trying to keep up with Timothy. I'd feel funny showing up trailering a stock jeep grand Cherokee though.

Woody,
My rule of thumb is if I take the Pinz farther away from home than Good Sam will tow it back home for free, then I trailer it.
Also, I don't think you need to worry about breaking things to keep up with me. The Pinz will make things look easy, but that doesn't mean I will push beyond the limits of the group.
Oh that kinda camper. My IQ starts to drop after 9 pm.
I am bummed that Bobby has to work, he is a good campfire tender. Heck if we are lucky there won't be a burn ban.
Woody if I were you I'd trailer that thing. Everyone else is bringing a Ford truck, and you need to test that new front end work. Show it off and give me a few pointers, bout time for mine too.
For the record I aint allowed to bang up the wifes new FJ but we will pile in with my son if we want to go tough.
I have a full hookup RV spot reserved. So I will be parking down in the high brow, super fancy, upscale neighborhood with the rest of the folks who can't sleep without air conditioning. Oh Yea.
I think I'm officially excited! I did a pretrip inspection on the jeep and it looks good to go. I don't have any tow straps though. After seeing your son's jeep, I'm thinking we'll need them to drag me along.
I want to go but can't. I'm going to the Taylor truck and tractor pull in Taylor, tx on the 28th. Not to mention I don't know what I'd do if I broke something that far from home. I plan to get an old bronco or something like that for off-road like marble falls but money is tight. Take pics!

Woody,
Not to worry. I have several tow straps, a hand winch, ****** blocks, and a fanatical desire to please the Pope.... Wait, that was Monte Python.... I have tools to rescue you, should that become necessary.
I am packed ready to go! I just nee to get an oil change on the F350, rotate the tires, go grocery shopping, load the camper, load the pinz, and about 100 other small tasks.
Well I am way ahead of Timothy, I sent my wife to the grocery store.
I do still need to stow the tool trailer and clean out my back seat. Then I can hook up the other trailer and load the camping gear and the coolers and the stove and fix the fan wire on the jeep and have a scotch. Then Josh can load the Jeep, crap ad look for straps, then supervise the tie down. Good thing I took a shower after work.

These are the best pics I got from the trip.. Thanks guys(&girls) for lots of fun!!
Right on Woody. Thanx for the pics. I did not get many of the FJ in action.
I made it home safe and still have more unloading and uploading to do. Good news is the jeep is in the driveway, not lodged in the unopen garage door. I'll post my pics as soon as I can get to it.
I'll have some tales to tell with the pics.
If anyone here on the FTE has dealings with these two fellas, itsnotanova or Libtim. Be advised they are fine folk, willin to go the extra mile when the going gets tough. Thanx guys, I really enjoyed the weekend.
We broke some stuff and got out on our own. We had one hell of a team assembled here on short notice. Thanx to the forum and the folks that make it what it is.
