Ford is projecting up to a 46% improvement over the previous premium engine. The key word is that the engine which it is being compared to is a premium engine, not the standard 4.6 liter v8, etc. I would like to know what to expect in the new Transit, equipped with its standard 3.7, or with the optional 3.5 EcoBoost motor.
