rusty 1976 ford courier
I just bought a '76 courier from a real 'only drives to church on sundays' kinda guy, but it's still a little too rusty for comfort. I bought some fiberglass matting, epoxy and a grinder, but I wanna do this right! Just wondering what I can do about all of the undercarridge rust and how to prevent it from coming back?

also, two of the body mounts right under each door are almost rusted off, looks like they weld on, wondering if anyone knew where I could find some replacements or if I have to custom fab em.

I had the same problem on my 82' S-10. I never did find anything to repair them. I can only suggest that you design something and get ahold of a good torch man. He/she should be able to fabricate just about anything you need. For the other rust, you may want to take it to a collision shop and have them bead blast all the rust off and the a rubberized undercoating applied. Good luck....
