I haven't had the guts to try it yet, but there are several threads in the 6.7 forum alone with a lot of detail and advice. I think the paint of choice seems to be Krylon Fusion.
i haven't done my headlights as of yet but they are on my to do list however i painted the chrome mirror caps and the emblems on my truck i sanded the chrome until it was dull and used some dupont self etching primer i got the paint from automotive touchup.com the match was perfect and the mirror caps have taken a beating from hitting bugs and no chips yet
as far as the headlights coming apart I've heard several different temps and times to bake them but i read on another thread a while back that a guy that did the baking and prying was going to do the process again he would use a heat gun instead of baking
hope that helps if you do end up doing them make sure to post pictures of the process
I got the headlights apart and painted so now I dunno what to use for sealing them back up I already pulled all the stock sealer stuff off so I can' start fresh let! What do u guys reccomemd

get yourself some butyl rubber you can use it with your existing sealant that was on your lights if theres any left the stuff i got said to bake it in the oven for 7 minutes at 235 degrees with something weighing the lens down
I looked for the butyl stuff and nobody has it so I gotta use somethin else since I need my truck ! What automotive stuff ? I have read not to use silicon is that true
OCI Butyl Rubber Glue
This is what I have used in the past and it works well. You may be able to find a similar product at a roofing supply company. I think 2ndStroke is referring to black RTV sealant, but I'm not certain and have never used it for headlights, but can see how that might work.
Yes, that's the stuff, dunno if its "proper" but mine have been through 3 harsh, ice built up, northern winters and still no leakage...good enough for me
