Hey Guys,
Looking at buying an msd 6a. What are the pros and cons.
My truck is an '89 F150 2wd X-cab 5.0 Auto w/155k. It runs prettty well and gets 14mpg around town and 18mpg on the highway. It has long tube headers and true 2 1/4inch dual exhaust.
Also my truck seems to have a vibration that starts at about 50, but stops just over 75. It is not too bad, but enough to be annoying. One person told me it could be dirty injectors? Any thoughts? Oh, and I just had my wheels balanced about 500 miles ago so I don't think it could be them. The vibration is slightly worse while under light load.

Try searching for my name recently, i've posted many times my opinion of the MSD. Great product, well worth the 150 bucks or so. Makes good low end power and makes the engine run smoother at higher RPM.
