I put one of my 65 Mustangs on CL to trade for a 65/66 F100/F250.
In the first 24 hours I have been offered a POS 81 Chevy, POS 65 Galaxie 500, and a POS rusty 59 F100 that just needs a paint job to make it a 30k show truck.
Im looking for as near as finished as possible in the 10-12k range.
I figure the Mustang is worth 11k-ish.
Most of the F100s I see have a DD paint job, no or little mechanical upgrades and a set of wheels that I would never have put on the truck and the owner thinks that = a 20k truck.
I know exactly what your going through trying to sell it. when I sold my one Mopar last year you wouldn't believe the rediculous offers and trades for straight POS's took awhile but finally sold it.... hahaha

Thank you moderators for cleaning that last statement, keeping this, one of the best sites on the internet.
Nice looking Mustang, I'm looking for one for my Daughter. Could not trade my truck for it, I do have my eye on a
65 Mustang down the street from me. Just waiting on owner to accept or decline my offer.

Today I was offered a 4k boat that with a little elbow grease is a easy 13k boat.
I think I will keep it, but keep the ad up for the entertainment value.
The misses wants me to buy a truck outright and keep the Mustang. The Mustang is a 289/C4 car, is 100% rust free, has a title (in Georgia that's a big bonus) and has power disc brakes, power steering, and a new pony interior. She says we cant replace it for what we sell it for and she likes driving it.
Went thru this when I traded my '57 F100 big window. Had everything from boats, campers, motorcycles to horses offered. I listed a few items I was interested in in the ad, apparently people can't or won't read.
I ended up with a nice '66 out of looking at a lot of replies.
Looks like a nice Mustang, keep reading their replies, you may find a gem.

More like $13K worth, and, and, and it makes the wife HAPPY!
We have a lot of irons in the fire: Retirement, student loans, 2 Harleys, 2 Mustangs, 2 F100s, 4 kids, 2 grandkids, 4 dogs, and a bunch of other stuff.
