1200 is a good price for swampers. I haven't ran those ones but my last 2 sets were the super swamper tsl/sx 36 12.50 15 and I love em. My first set was pretty warm down when I got them but still seemed to have decent life before I wore them down to racing slicks lol. They're bias ply and they handle great off-road. Keep an eye out for freight shipping fees if your ordering offline a lot of places are 50.00 + per tire for shipping. I ordered my New set from 4 wheel parts they had free shipping if you ordered 4 tires and since I got rims as well it was free shipping + free mount and balancing.
I have BFG mud terrain tires, 35/12.5/16.5. They are great for off road and run straight on pavement. Lots of road noise since i went to a 12" wide rim. As far as long term wear, i dont know because burning them up off road, its hard to tell.
I still have my steel rims, and am debating putting the mud terrain on that set, and looking for some street tires for DD.
36's are bias, go with the gen 2 37's, or the gen 3 BFG Baja TA's both radial tires.
x2 on the military take off's. I'm running the 37's on my highboy and couldn't be happier. Also, I paid $60/tire.. that price is near impossible to beat for a 37" aggressive radial tire..

How did you pay 60$/tire? That site lists them as 150$/tire. Right now im looking at bfg t/a ko 850$ shipping included or 700$ shipping included for radial military tires.
Contact the guy... he might? But FYI the tires themselves are 80 lbs a piece. Ck your local Craigslist for them or look up any DRMO ( Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office) sale.

I didn't order through that site. Also, the tires I bought were 60% or better tread, so not perfect. Still a heck of a lot cheaper than anything else I could find for it though.. I bought some old school turbine wheels and those humvee tires for less than $700 total, including freight shipping.

side shot
and one that shows the tread a little better
You wouldnt happen to want to sell that box or trade for a flatbed would you?
This box isn't in very good shape. The bed is totally shot, it would only be good for patch panels at this point. I am currently looking for a replacement bed for this truck, but I really don't want to part with mine before I have a replacement.
Could you PM me pictures of the flatbed? I can get some better pictures of the box/bed floor if you want.
Since you already have 16.5's my money would go towards military Baja 37" tires. I have 15" wheels and am really wanting to buy wheels for those tires. They do better in nearly every terrain than the goodyear tires posed above.
