Lift Install question

So i was looking around online to see my options and came across a site that told me 1100 bucks installed and that includes everything needed. shocks, all drop brackets, extended lines if needed, and that also includes an alignment. Is this a good price for everything that i should entertain or just do it myself as planned. after talking this was for a 4 inch Rough Country lift with blocks. Is the couple hundred bucks worth a shop installing it? advise from anyone who personally has installed one. Thank you

I'd do it yourself. Suspension is easy stuff. It's always been my favorite part of a vehicle to work on.

A couple hundred as in 200 or as in 900

Also, EVERY lifted truck NEEDS to be aligned

I figured 450 goes towards installation. Depends though on what shocks are included too I guess. Yeah I know it would need to be aligned. It is included in the price that he gave me

That is dirt cheap, but then the lift is dirt cheap too.

I would be looking at a Pro comp long arm or BDS long arm

The lift is a 4 inch suspension from rough country. It is the same one I would buy regardless.

Agree with Brad completely, (can't believe I just said that) just kidding man. ProComp or BDS with extended radius arms is about the best thing going for our trucks. Not cheap, but ya get what ya pay for. My $.02 Should be doing a 6 in ProComp with new rear springs this fall if I get that far with the project.
