Hello neigbors to the north. I thought I would announce that the Vale, Oregon Chamber of Commerce will be attempting to break the current Guinness record for the largest parade of pickups currently at 386. The date is set for July 5th starting at 5:00 PM MDT. Yes, Vale is on potato time. My family has more pickups than drivers currently but we plan on getting as many as we can in the event. There are other events planned for that whole week including the 100th annual Vale 4th of July Rodeo the 3rd through the 6th. Vale is 16 miles from where I84 crosses the Oregon/Idaho border.
Thanks bud . It's my baby. Unfortunately it's in need of repair. A lot. But, I'm young, dumb, and ready to spend money I don't have! Hehe, I do take my time though.
The pick up parade will be on Saturday, July 5th at 5pm. Registration will open at 9 am. Printable pre-registration forms will be available at www.valechamber.com starting June 16th. Please share with your friends!!
Gruesome, I'm young and dumb too, but I'm only spending money I can scrape together to upgrade my cooling system before this event.
