I have gotten the opportunity to buy a later model Rockwell FDS 75 front drive axle with disc brakes to replace the current one on the front of Casa Azul. The problem is that the truck has a split braking system (2 seperate brake lines go to each wheel), and the disc brakes are just "single circuit".
I just purchased the Ford large truck parts DVD and have been studying the brake system diagrams and there seems to be some thru-frame fittings that feed both the circuits into 1 brake hose down to the disc caliper. This seems odd to me...
Does anyone have any experience with single/ split brake systems? Any input would be greatly appreciated
