f150 wont start

f150 wont start

Ok I have a 99 f150 lariat 5.4 4x4 i drove it into my yard and turned it off and its never started again. It turns over fine just wont start I have replaced the fuel pump it was noisey anyway switched fuel pump relay its working i checked for fire and have fire at plugs 40 psi fuel pressure finally gave up and took it to my ford dealer they said ecm was bad so I brought back home an pulled my ecm seny out for repair got it back with a note no problem with unit reinstalled it still no start went back to ford they said ecm due to no groung to any injectors I have cleaned all the grounds also checked my key it is rejestering also replaced the reset switch for fuel pump any help. Thanks

first and foremost when you turn the key to the on position are all your electrics working, if so is the CEL on? if yes what codes is it giving? second when you turn your key all the way to the crank position does it attempt to crank, click, or grunt and then stop?

Yes dash works turns over fine just never gets ground to injectors

have you tried testing the connections to your injectors to ensure proper power is reaching them? also maybe try replacing the injectors just to verify that they arent bad themselves

I have power to all injectors iam told they pulse the ground and I never get a ground when cranking or testing

You say your key is registering?
Is the theft light blinking during crank or no?

No its not blinking I also have a plain key no chip for unlocking the doors if I put that in it blinks if I go back to my good key it comes on and goes off

That should rule out pats
Do you have a check engine light with key on engine off?
Maybe do a search on this forum for "coil drivers"

What tells the ecm to fire the injector somthing has to tell it when to fire to keep. It in time

Iirc injectors get timing from the camshaft positioning sensor.

random thoughts;
Is this a manual tranny or Auto?
Make sure it is in Park fully (auto tranny), or try starting in Neutral .

If Manual then is the safety neutral switch bad?

Does your steering wheel feel loose, like it isn't mounted securely??
and you checked all fuses and relays??...sorry had to ask.

Are you sure your missing fuel...not spark?

Yes pulled coil packs turned over with plug stuck in pack plug firing
