Is this part covered by my premium care esp warranty? I thought that I read it was at one time might be mistaken.

I was talking to dealer because that is where my truck was lol. At first it was said "It would cost me $230 ish dollars". I told them that I thought it was covered by my premium care. They said they would call back after looking into it. Got call back being told it was "Indeed covered". Just had too make it back here to update this topic. Thanks for posting the obvious ,Would of never thought of that. Now is when everyone piles in to help out mr obvious

If you have the premium esp, a loaner car is also covered if the repair is over a certain time period.

Thanks for a more in depth answer. The part is on back order now. They claim I could probley have it by Tuesday. Truck is safe to drive . Warranty runs out in 6000km so had front end looked at ball joints ect. Truck was getting death wobble lately on rough roads. Hope it will cure the problem as I have never had the death wobble before with this truck.

Reminds me of my 6.0. When I first got it, the stabilizer was bad and I replaced it with a unit purchased from the dealership for around $75.00. I ended up replacing my shocks with Bilstein's and decided to complete the package with the Bilstein stabilizer. Well, the new Ford stabilizer had only 5K miles on it when I took it off and it was completely gone! I threw it in the trash and was happy I had the Bilstein to replace it. Did not even bother taking it back to Ford for warranty because another one would do the same thing and just be a hassle. Warranty is not worth it when crappy parts are replaced with new crappy parts.

Basically, get ready to replace it sooner than you think, especially with your warranty going out. I have a Bilstein stabilizer on order and will install it next week. Will chime in on the condition of my existing Ford unit with 36K on it.

Yes I agree totally. I had bilstein shocks and dual stabilizer on my 06 f-350 previous. A great ride and superior performance. I was more worried about front end components being bad like ball joints tie rods ect. But since they only found the stabilizer fubared I will let them put one on for free. next one will be on me and it will be bilstein for sure.
