Nice condition and asking $3,000. How are these vehicles for reliability? Don't know anyone who has one so I could use some input from the experts.

If it's a nice truck, that's a decent price. Find out if the head gaskets have been replaced, along with other seals. Check closely for rust, especially floors/ rocker panels, quarter panels, inside edge of hood/ tailgate, bottom edges of doors. Head gaskets were the most common problem I know of. I've seen dozens of these trucks with 170,000-200,000 miles.

i have a 94 with 145000 on it and it runs fine but like they said look at the head gasket and i suggest looking at the tranny between the bell housing and the rear main seal....very common leak on exploders...and i still dont know what causes it...
