Identify this hole

I'm swapping out a 302 with a 351w and everything is coming together and there is a hole next to the oil sending unit. I have no idea what the do-dad is that bolts up to it and I have no clue what that thing hooks up to.

If its an oblong hole, with a 3/8 bolt hole on each side, its probably for a fuel pump.
