Made the mistake of looking at a pic someone sent me of a nice factory bench seat that was recovered in leather. Well now I'm thinking. I've looked at all the thread asking for bucket seat pics. Now I'm asking for a bench seat thread. I'd like to see any cool custom recovering of a factory seat. Spare me the wooden swinger....lol
Doesn't have to be yours just anything you happen to see I'd like to look at.
Here is my current interior....
My sorta goal is to put carpet in. I DO NOT want black carpet ever again so I'm considering having the seat done in black and gray and using gray carpet. Proly tie the colors into door panels and kick panels. That way I can keep my black headliner and not have to change it.....Oh, a while back I got some leather power buckets out of a 4Runner limited that are really nice. Only bad thing is now I really don't want to do an entirely different color interior (tan).
I'm following his Thread here on "FTE" but I don't know how you would find him unless you can go to USER CP and find FORUMS and locate him from their....
Fred! Can't wait to get to a computer tomorrow and look at your seat. That looks great. Tell me more about the material, etc. I can't see where you live on this phone....doesn't show that. Who did it for ya and if you don't mind me asking how much for just the seat? Thanks!
Its been installed a couple times but isn't currently. I often get the need to sit in my truck behind the wheel, bouncing lightly in the bench seat, just to keep me motivated.
Like the matching door panels Fred.

Thanks Wayne and John! I live outside Seattle but I am currently visiting Port Elgin, Ontario for work.
The material is the vinyl like what is used on the back seats of leather equipped cars. It was done by a local lady working out of her garage. She charged me $750 for the seat, door panels and the arm rests. Not cheap but I think they came out pretty good.

I'm waiting to get my cab back so I can do the same thing!
