I have a 1995 F350 Dually crew cab with the 460cid(7.5L)
I replaced the factory air box with the K&N Fib kit. Is there someone out there whom manufactures or has manufactured a replacement for the stock air intake tubes from the filter to the throttle body? The Stock tubes are ugly and mine are getting really soft and the area by the bends is partially collapsing(this can't be good for air flow)All the manufacturers like airaid and Volant only make systems for 97 and up. I would like either something in chrome or stainless or at least something better than the ugly soft black stock tubes. How about it? Lost cause?
I have not heard of any aftermarket pipes, what you would have to do is make some of your own. I’ve heard of people going to a muffler shop and getting some pipe the was bent the wrong way or could not be used, and using that to make an intake pipe. Or you could have them bend up a pipe to fit your truck.
