89 f-150 with a 351. at idle on warming up no miss. start driving at 10-30-50 mph is smooth and then 2-3-4- times it misses like turning the key off & on. keep driving and misses again. if i catch it at th first miss and step on the gas it climes right up, no miss. once it is fully warm i dont get the miss any more. any suggestions, also it is an automatic trans. thanks Gary
I have the same issue. Basically just a miss when the engine is cold. Usually of the line from a stop or slow rolling start. There are a few things I think it has to do with, but I would start with cleaning the injectors and replacing filters. I just bought my truck so I haven't had time to work it out on mine yet. It may help to get a code reader. They are cheap.
