302 vibration

i just got an early bronco 1972 with newly rebuilt 302. the engine has a bad vibration in neutral when i am above idle. the numbers on block say it is an 80 302 (eoae). the balancer was from a 68 302 (c80e) so i changed to newer 84 balancer (e4te) vibration is still there. it has a 74 c4 trans and flywheel. so then i changed flywheel to 80 model part number(e0az) still vibrates. can any one give me help or ideas. i thought maybe torque convertor but i dont know please help.

First thing I would check is the motor mounts to make sure they are in good condition.

It is possible that your timing is off and is causing some vibration. Put a timing light on it just to see.

might also check your plug wires, if there not on correctly that can cause a vibration as well

i have checked mounts and they are in good shape also checked firing order and timing both apear ok.

does your tranny have plenty of fluid . might also check your tranny mounts , might also try a compression test

Even though the block says it's an '80, what balance factor is the crank? (I thought the balance factor was changed after the '80 model year, btw.)
