We have a 62 mercury aircraft push vehicle at work that we use to move dead trucks around the lot and we are adapting a 223 inline 6 into it from a 63 or 64 f100. the problem is we need an automatic trans to bolt up to it. need the bell housing flex plate and the whole nine yards. any info would be much appreciated. and if anyone has this set up at home in their garage we would love a price on what u want for it.

All the parts are obsolete, IMO you will need to find a donor truck. Ask Don (camperspecial65) for assistance, as he scrounges dozens of PNW wrecking yards.
I know Don personally and I think you do too. During conversations we've had, he has mentioned you several times.

Owch, if all parts are obsolete then we may get that adaptor plate for a c4. Appreciate the help. We were looking to make the pusher easier to work on as it has a dodge 251 flathead inline six in it paired to a np435 with broken teeth.
Absolutely I have met don, good guy. I got a set of doors from him a few years ago I recently had put in primer.
If I get the chance I will get pictures of number plates of this 1962 mercury aircraft pusher, maybe you can dig up some dirt on it for fun as it is one of those weird things ford made that no one has heard of.
Thank you for all the help! I'll tell my boss to bite the bullet and buy the c4 adaptor plate.
