I'm pretty happy with my SCT Livewire TS...it can do both the tuning and the monitoring that I want. Which enabled me to NOT have to buy multiple pillar gauges or have to have more than one item that needs the OBDII plug.
It seems to be SCT is the way to go. Luckily I will be in Florida next week and SCT's shop is in Florida as well. Works out very well.

Thanks for the input!

Splash67 just did this, I bought the sinister coolant filter, but have since regretted it with the design and issues I had with it.

The clamps were either too big or too small for the hoses and I had leaks as a result. I really wish I gone with my gut and bought the Dieselsite filter. I've got it on my 7.3 and it's a much better design.

Is that pretty common with the Sinister kit? I have the Sinister EGR delete on my '12 Ram 3500 and it is great.

I will read more reviews of the Sinister and compare them to Dieselsite. Thanks for the heads up.

The coolant filter is my only gripe, the rest of the kit is worthwhile.

Yes I put both the Sinister oil and coolant filters on and so far the only leak was from an OEM hose clamp. I went with the Sinister because I was able to get both the oil and coolant filters on the same bracket and it is a very clean installation. I'd recommend it again....

Is there a particular model number on which Stant Coolant cap to get? I actually DON'T have this upgrade, and was in Walmart yesterday and there is a whole section of Stant caps.....

I went with the OEM update kit. If I remember right I think it includes the turbo feed and drain oil lines, the "Blue Spring" upgrade, the degas bottle top (coolant bottle top), new stand pipes, and dummy plugs.

Where would you get said kit? Much installation required?

Another vote for SCT. Gauges are a must. Digitals are fine, but make sure you get something that can accept input from a fuel pressure transducer. A heavy foot, with aggressive tunes will kill your pressure, which can do serious damage to your injectors.

You only want the hardware(tuner) from SCT.

Once you have that, you'll get better software(custom tunes) from someone else. Its usually easier to get it all from your tuner of choice(Eric,Matt, etc).
