I have not done it but I think If you un bolt the window regulator and remove the wing window and division bar assembly the window will come out. In the back of DC's catalog it explains how to remove the wing window and division bar assembly to swap out the weatherstrips. You can go here Dennis Carpenter Ford Car, F-100 Pickup Truck, 8N, 9N Tractor and Cushman Scooter Restoration Parts.

Thanks, JEFFFAFA!
I've read through the "How to", and downloaded a copy of the catalog. I think I'll be able to figure this project out.
As I go through the process, I'll get a whole set of step-wise digital pics, so that when I can post attachments on this site, I'll do a tutorial for the members. I'm quite experienced at doing that with projects on my other vehicles,...I have a NUMBER of them.
I like your quote at the end of your posts,...I guess I have a "cool" one, and one made by those OTHER guys, too! But my collection represents a huge variety of makes and models.
Thanks again,
Todd.
P.S. Anybody else that can direct me to a thread that covers the removal/replacement process? I'd guess someone has done this at some point,...

Thanks, JEFFFAFA. I tryed "search" before I posted this thread and got nowhere with a number of different phrases. I'll wait to see if anyone sparks up with a specific thread, and keep looking through the search results.
In addition, I have another complete door that I'll replace my '69's truck window with and between the two, I should be able to figure it all out, even if I don't get any more info from the forum. I can experiment with the '69's door glass (the roller track weld has broken, and it cannot be reattached to the regulator like it is) and then remove the glass from the extra door using that knowledge. I will take a mess 'o pictures in any case and create a "how to" thread.
Todd.

I came across this video on you tube. ITs for replacing all of the door window weather stripping. Once you have everything to the point to be able to do this, it should be simple to take the window out of the door itself because it will be loose.

Thanks Lloyd399.
Geeze, too bad I don't need to replace any of the truck's original weatherstripping/felts,...the '69's are all in great shape, even after 45 years! But it sure seems like the proper procedure will be to remove the vent window and runner to be able to remove the glass.
I'll still try to create a "how to" for this procedure as I complete it. It appears that it might be needed for others to refer to.
Thanks again,
Todd.

You don't have to take the vent windows out. I just put the doors back together on my truck after paint. You can take the regulators out, then loosen the bottom bolt on the front window channel. This will give you enough wiggle room to slide the glass down, then twist it 90 degrees and take it out thru the top.

Fantastic, coupe5oh! That sounds more like the way Ford would've designed this to be done when it became necessary,...
I'll start with the truck so I'll know the particulars of the "wiggle" needed when I get to the good window in the complete door. Then re-installation in the '69 will be easier with all that practice!
Thank you for your advice!
Todd.

Wow,...thanks Bill!
I know the parts exactly, and this diagram makes it obvious!
I'll bet that I'll need to remove the beltline felts ("anti-rattlers", 21452 and 21453) in both the "donor" door, and the '69 F100 to get each of the windows out of the of the doors and re-install the good one in the truck,...
I'll definitely remember you for future reference/questions since I see your background as Ford parts manager and, of course, the 52,800+ posts!! You must be as old as I am!
Thanks very much again,
Todd.

Gosh, Bill, 167 people have viewed this thread,...maybe my "how to" with pictures will be of value to the other members of this forum!
My previous restoration of my '68 Mustang coupe helps,...I know it's shop manual quite well, and there are similarities in Ford design. In addition, I've done a number of "how to" tutorials on the Mustang forum prior to this, so this one will be easy.
In addition, I have a number of other vehicles that I've restored and done picture tutorials on (by other manufacturers that I'll not mention here!) and members of those forums have always appreciated them, so I'll be sure to add this one to the FTE forum.
These experiences make some of this a little bit intuitive.
Todd.

Ahhh, ya got a couple of years on me, Bill. My DOB 4/12/56. But I've been rode hard and put up wet! Hope you'll honor my friend request anyway.
Todd.
P.S. I'm an RN,...worked in the operating rooms for over 20 years, and eight in the surgical clinic. Trying to get away from all that at this time.
