I was thinking about getting some 33s for my truck but i am worried with zero lift they will rub to much i know they will rub and full streeing lock but what is the biggest size a stock truck can have? (truck is a 95 f-150 eddie bauer 4wheel drive extended cab short box 5.8)
You could probably run 32s with little to no rubbing stock. Any higher than that and you will rub without spacers or trimming. I've heard of some fitting 33s with only bumper trimming but I wouldn't do that personally.
Im running 33s on mine i pushed my bumper out about 3 inches since i refuse to chop it up and it does clear except the control arm rub .....but 32s should fit perfectly
Ive run 32x11.50s and 33x12.50s on aftermarket wheels on a factory SCSB 4x4 with zero rubbing, even when on the trail. Just had to trim the corner of the bumper a bit. It's going to have more to do with your wheel back spacing then anything.
Thanks guys I'm still not sure what i wanna do because i know I'm going to run good year Duratracs tires but they only come 31 or 33. and I'm a college student so I'm only doing one big thing each summer to my truck since I'm only driving three months of the year. but next year i wanna do 2" suspension and 2'' body lift so i don't wanna have 31's with that lift, but i cant do the lift this year because I'm doing a 6L tune on my truck (I have a 351) and the truck needs some lovin the last owner was kinda an *** to the two he owned it for two years and never did anything. when i changed the oil the truck only had 4L of oil in it (they take 5.7L) almost 2L less 29.8% less then what the book calls for. So one thing at a time
My stock tire size is NOT 235/75r15 I have the Eddie Bauer with the upgrade d wheels so I have centerline rims with a stock size of 265/70r15 abd horible gearing 3.08 (not a joke not a typo yes I have 3.08 gears) I'm not worried about crossing the double. Yellow lines in Canada the lanes are so f**king wide I'm good lol. I was just wondering if the wheel spacers would help fitment or make it harder for larger tires???
Also I did mention I only drive this truck in the summer months so I wanna make it My truck. I'm 18 but I wanna keep this truck for a long time. After killing my first truck (Ford ranger) in mud then slowly killing my Suzuki sidekick doing rockcrawling and trails with build jeeps (while I was stock) I know how to kill a truck to easy so I love my truck he's me best friend Im not gona kill Eddie :P. I also run a property maintenance company small so I don't have any large equipment but still sometimes I gotta hual loads of down trees or brush so Eddie is my dirt road Prince

FYI, you do not have Centerlines from the factory. They would of been Alcoas
Ok so I never did ask about gas mileage I understand it is a big part of driving but I only drive this truck 3 or 4 months of the year so I think I have a. Plan of a two inch lift in the front and add a leaf on the back then 33s
