Price check

Thinking of selling my Ex (gasp). There I said it. I love it but without a camper and the oldest about to move out I really do not need the space anymore. I know that you don't get a return on the extras that you put into it but there are few with as low of mileage. Any thoughts on its value?

 2005 Excursion Eddie Bauer 6.0 Diesel White
This Excursion was ordered by the owner of a dealership in North Dakota as one of the last Ford Excursions off the line before they stopped making them. He used it sparingly for several years and I purchased it from him in 2010 and have taken it on several trips towing our camper. It didnt even go into service until 2007 and was under warranty when I purchased it. It has been setup to be the ultimate Excursion Tow Vehicle. This is a one of a kind vehicle that is perfect for the family that wants to tow a camper or boat in a rock solid towing platform

Since 2010 then I have taken extremely good care of the vehicle and upgraded the parts of the vehicle that were lacking. This is truly how the vehicle should have come from the factory as Stock. I have towed a couple of times per year on camping trips.

Set of 5 (full size spare) 285/75 R16 Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor Pro Grade
V/B suspension upgrade which gives it about a 2 inch lift. Rear leaf springs use a F350 leaf on the bottom of the stack which gives the back about a half inch more but is perfect for towing.

Rancho RS 9000xl adjustable shocks
Helwig Sway Bar
Bullet Proof Diesel upgrade FICM
RedHead Steering gear (to remove the play in the ford Steering)
New soundsystem with Kenwood double din stereo and navigation. new speakers and sub. $1000 of soundproofing.
Probably more but that is all I can think of right now.

Truck is perfect (or will be when sold)

Just realized I did not include that bit of information - It has 97k miles on it.

Take a look at eBay. I had been shopping these for a month and can tell you from that experience that if all you are saying is true....and I am not doubting you...and the truck is extra clean; then you are $21k + and could pull as much as $27-29k. You have a good story. Good story/no salt/clean/-100k mileage=premium price in this market.

It depends on the market and if your willing to wait for your price, so start high and work from there. 30k is what I paid for a mint 1 owner 60k eb excursion. Remember these truck's were built 9 years ago, so a big auto loan might be hard to get.

Make Dam sure you won't want/need another excursion like the one you have. It would be very hard to replace your road king...

I got dogs to fill up the empty space. They love you a lot more and sometimes grandkids visit and still everyone fits. I am too comfy in my EX and could not see another car or truck taking its place. If you like the ride and it likes you keep until it no longer pleases the need. Ex's are so hard to find clean and set up the way you want them.
