I'm having a heck of a time finding tie downs to fit in the side rails on my '59 Fridge. The openings are 2.25 x 1.75 and I can't seem to find any that will fit. I'd really like some plain, steel (not chrome) that retract.
Any suggestions?
Thanks guys.
Just thinking you could mold them into that space. Use some 3/4" box steel, a squared off 3/8" U bolt. You can even go fancy and use a stainless steel U Bolt. The box steel could be painted body color and the U bolt sunken in.
If not... I'll keep my eyes open, but most of the things out there are either huge for today's trucks or those small rubber and chrome covered cast pieces.
Thanks Mike. I'm not much of a fabricator......it's all about the tools necessary, and...........i'm a little short there...though you have given me some idea's.
I appreciate your keeping your eyes open for me!
