NOTICE: i am not trying to start a debate!!
the shock thing is very touchy around here.. he he. I have decided to go with bilsteins now....just need to know how to get my hands on some. Does napa sell them? if so whats the part number for the 5100 series or whatever. I have a 8" lift. Which bilstien do yall recomend- without getting too expennsive, less than 100 per shock. thanks a mil.

Call BILSTEIN direct. I got my part #s from their tech dept. You could try FOX PERFORMANCE, they carry them for THE EDGE lift kits and may sell just the shocks. You should only pay about $75+for them.

I think you're looking for BE5-6249-H5 for the front and BE5-6250-H5 for the rear.....these are the silver ones. I remember Overkill saying that they were on backorder before........not sure if they have come in yet or not. $75 each.
There are also the 5150s, I don't know the part numbers, not sure on the price either but thought I'd show them to you. For some reason I want to say they were close to $100....but don't quote me on that.

thanks dc....Are the 5150's much better? is the extra money worth it.. i am 90% on road driving.. hardly ever off-road, and never hard. thanks

I got the hood for $699 (I think the price has dropped since I got it in 8/01), then they charged $20 to box it, and $58 for shipping (It comes straight from Keystone on a Truck so it might be more to you......and when I got it they would only deliver it to a business).
Then to fix a few small imperfections in the hood, prep it, paint it both sides, clearcoat and buff it I paid $300. It was my buddy's shop and he lets me use his lift and shop space to work on my truck so I didn't shop around.
Oh, and yes it is fiberglass.
