Hi all. A friend of mine just bought an 1979 Ranchero. It has Harley Davidson strips or decals. My question is....Did Ford ever make a Harley version? This is the vin 9H47F137818.
TIA.

Having been alive in '79, I'm pretty sure there was no Harley Ranchero.
The "Harley thing" being still pretty much a hard core biker or hard core tourer thing at the time. "Rubbers"* were a ways off at that point.
*RichUrbanBBikERS", as imagined by a columnist in a motorcyle mag, who went on to describe a remake of "Easy Rider" as "Easy Rubbers", about "two rich urban bikers who trailer their Harleys around the country behind a Ford Expedition....".
But I digress. I like Rancheros, but imo by '79 they were but a beached whale with hubcaps.....
