Thanks Dustin! If I get more serious about it I may take you up on that.
no problem. I'd say give him a list of things to look for specifically. Might be able to get one of my other (more mechanically inclined) uncles that live in Des Moines to go look at it too.

Sounds good! I will let you know. One thing I have to get past is I do not like the tan color of that two tone so that would have to get painted either white to match the rest of the truck or another color. I can paint it myself but there is still expense involved.
I am at a loss as to what could be going on still. Everything is tight and or new... The only thing I can think of is tires. They are new and load range E and all aired up to 70 PSI. Maybe too soft of sidewall???
I'd like to swap some tires around from my truck to yours to see if it goes away.

Even driving to work today I can feel it. Is it possible a tread separated?
You might be able to see it if you pick it up off the ground. Not easy to see loaded always.
I'd start by swapping tires around, but based on the clunk and it started after then, then gone and back with another feel hard to see. Unless something hit a tire when it went flying?
Troy, why not just find some fenders and the parts to convert yours? Less work than swapping everything over, and with all the work done to yours it might make more sense.

This is almost the perfect truck for you Troy. Only flaw is the tan two tone
