That's good. Sounds like you need to hook up the camper and go help.

LOL!! Well at least that truck is close to me. I know that truck and that thing never moves as you can tell by the low miles.

Good morning Dave! Well actually we only have one issue left just the gear noise. I think I finally figured out the slow drain on the batteries. After having the batteries tested for the third time yes the third time one showed to be bad so replaced it and it seemed to fix the problem. Not sure why the battery tested fine all the other times. The truck has been sitting for almost a week now so I will know for sure when I try to start it today.

Good morning Troy. You only replaced one? Were they both fairly new?

Well for now yes only one. If this fixes the problem I will go ahead and replace the other one as well. Just going to make sure this fixes it first.

When mine started chattering I just replaced the whole unit with a new take out unit I got from a guy on CL.

Dave and Mike still have it at their shop. Not sure yet but it did have a busted leaf spring in the rear left.

Sure you take it there to fix one thing and they always seem to find something else broken. Works out nice for them!
