Howdy again Rick..

Chris, dancing with the backpack blower for a couple three hours makes time go by pretty good..

I've had that option a few times but the 4 hour wait is hell. Power could be restored at any minute.

That it probably would. Most of our cleanup is on the end of a broom if the place is down.

It was a couple electical panels that blew I guess. They knew it couldn't/wouldn't be running during the shift. If there is any chance for the place to run normally we stay.

That was the way things were the first year at Lowe's.. When we weren't loading we needed to be sweeping..

I suppose I could have stayed and drove a forklift unloading some kilns but the go home carrot was dangled and I went after it.

I would have had to walk all the way up to the mobile shop though. Then walk all the way back to the mill when I was done. The parking lot and my truck were a lot closer.

I normally spend about 1/2 a night walking back and forth. 120' turn, 120' turn, repeat as needed. The other half is spent sitting.

The lumber falls into bins. There are 38 of them. Just have to monitor to keep the lumber straight and drop when they are full. The other half of the night is grading.
