The stock intake is said to be sufficient for up to 500 hp. The aftermarket, K&N etc, don't filter as well.

I guess if it aint broke don't fix it. The only thing good about an aftermarket one is the filter is easier to get to.

Just need to wash and re oil. The problem with the aftermaket ones is they let more small stuff through. I guess after some time it's kind of like running air with sand into your turbo. Probably takes a long time but I guess it does some harm.
