I just like to laugh at the dorks that drive with their tow mirrors extended. Reminds me of guys that walk around, all puffed up, like they're tough or something. It's especially satisfying if Black embarrasses them at at stoplight!

Hey, what kind of mpg's does your truck get? I'm hoping to be able to get another truck in the next few months and I'm curious how the 4.6 does compared to the 5.0 they came out with.

 

Its not too bad Rob. According to the lie-o-meter I am getting about 16 in the city and 21-22 on the highway with the truck's current setup. I was getting a bit better before I started the mods to the truck. When I first bought the truck i was able to see 25.5 on the highway. I am not sure how the 5.0.

 

I am also running 93 octane in the truck currently because of the tune I have installed to help with the extra weight on the front end.

 

That's not too bad... most of my driving is highway. We shall see, don't know for sure when, but sooner or later I hope to have another Ford as my daily driver. It doesn't help that Ford keeps mailing me crap and tempting me.

 

I know what you mean Rob. And it does well. I can go from my house in Baltimore to a Morganton NC on 3/4 of a tank of fuel. That is not to bad. Only filled up before I left home and the town in NC I was in a few yrs back now. I can go from Baltimore to Buffalo NY on a tank and still have enough leftover for a bit of driving.
