Hey guys Jut a small update, by the way we decided to keep the truck since the F250 is currently all apart and now that we are moving to a house where we will be doing lots of yard work we will need a pick up.

I finished painting the truck this weekend, I will still clear it and wet snad to try and get rid of some of the hot spots but i am going to wait until after we move and the pollen stops flying everywhere.

Side View: i still need to paint the wheel wells.

Front:

Rear: ( i did peel the plasti dip off the tailgate and paint it lol)

Total Paint Job cost:

Painters Tape: $5.00
Roll Bar Paint: $7.00 6x
Red Scotch Bright Pads: $10.00

Total: $57.00
this is minus clear coat obviously but i would expect it to be around the same cost as the black paint so roughly $40-$70.

Next on this trucks list is the 50" LED light bar (just need mounts), LED Reverse Lights (from the F250), Front 2" Level, Wiper arm springs, rubber Floor, Fender Flares (very low profile just want to cover the rust patching job), Treadwright 33" tires.

I started to install my old 08 Super duty center console today and it fits like a charm! It will be so much better to actually have storage space and cup holders not cup throwers!

I removed the bench which was very easy...the floor is disgusting though, thank god im getting a vinyl floor mat at some point for this.

Bench on the ground, i definitely recommend getting a buddy this was a PITA for me to do alone. The nuts that retain the center part are located on the bottom of the frame so i flipped it back and removed them and the center flip seat.

It looks really nice there, it has a little extra space on either side but i can deal with it the gains far outweigh the "loss" lol.

I trimmed and adjusted the console and this is where it will sit.

Shifting through the gears really isn't that bad i would have to avoid large cups in the driver side cup holder but in all honesty i can use the passenger one and i wont have to hold the cups with my elbow and shift with my right hand or hold the cups, use my right knee to hold the wheel clutch and shift with my left hand lol.

this paint holds up very well by the way, i took it through the woods to get it out of the back yard and had some branches scrap the sides and you would never know there snot even a scratch.

Next Mods:
- Vinyl flooring
- Radio
- Wiper Helper springs
- Leveling kit/lift
- POR front of frame
- New shocks
- Dual stabilizer
- Clear coat
- 33" Tires
- Flares
- 50" LED Bar
- LED reverse lights

No. It has no cup holders. Zip, zero, nada. I could've added the ones that go around the shifter boot, but I swapped in the mechanical t-case instead. If I ever build a center console, I will add them.

Ya. From what I recall, the trick was to replace power steering fluid with Mercon 3 (not V). In my Ranger, I filled the power steering pump with AMSOIL synthetic ATF. I have had zero problems.

Thanks! ill have to try that out then because it drives me nuts lol.

Yeah no cup holders would suck, at least you dont "have them" and then when you go to use them they go flying lol.

When you put the ATF fluid in it make sure there is no bubbles these trucks suck about the whining PS pump.

My 83 bronco has the cup throwers in its console and I hate that. My 95 bronco has decent cupholders but my 88 has the best ones that I installed.

My Ranger was easy from what I remember. It was a few years back. There are a couple bolts holding it to the bracket, 2 fittings that need disconnected, and you need a power steering pump pulley puller tool. Say that 3 times fast. I rented one from Advance for free, or you can buy one.

same deal on these trucks the hardest part really is getting the pressure line off without stripping it. When I did the one on my 88 I put a new line on it too just because (still got to replace the return line turns out that is the one leaking).

Another update on he truck, I have not worked on the PS pump just et but i will hopefully soon I should be closing on my house this week or next so that is my priority right now lol.

I got a new Boss Flip out radio for the truck, up until now i have not had a radio which prevented me from driving it when i commute to work and everywhere with it because i had nothing to listen to. I will be doing the expeditions soon as well because i miss listening to my music lol. Only time i get to listen to my music in one of my cars now is if i sit in the F250 in the garage. I should get the radio by Friday or monday those so i will post a review and pictures once i get it installed.

I received the Radio today but i am in Teas for work so i wont be able to install it until this weekend and test it out. I am also thinking about getting a Lund visor and installing the 50" led bar i got in it to use it as roof mounts for the bar, what is everyone's thoughts on that?
