Quick ? about steering gear boxes
For some reason I can't find what I am looking for. Whats the differences about the steering gear box between the 03-04 and 05-07 f250/f350's?? I am guessing the turning radius.

Steering/turning radius is related to the older 2003-04 having leaf spring front ends which don't turn as tight as the 2005 and up with the front coils. I don't know the steering box itself is anything different but it does stand to reason as the power assist on the under 07s all use the brake PS pump to hydro assist the brakes and the brakes are different, changing in 05 rotor sizes, caliper sizes ect. So all this being said, it stands to reason there are other part differences like the steering box, so order with the correct part number for your year range.
