ok guys heres my problem...i have a 00 f150 reg cab 4.2 4/6 drop 20 inch harley wheels dvd and 6 inch screen. i had the factory head unit with radio only (no cd or tape) and i took it out last night to put in a pioneer premier head unit. i bought the right adapter. anyways i hooked up the power and the ground and turned the radio on. it worked. then i turned it back off and hooked up everything else. i didnt pull any fuses or take off the battery cable. anyways i connected all the other wires and taped them up. right when i thought i was done i turned the truck back on to cool off with some a/c and turn on my new radio and it didnt work. the truck turned on but the radio did not. i checked the fuse in the back of the head unit. it was ok. i also checked the fuse in under the dash for the radio and it was ok too. i hooked the stock head unit back up and it doesnt work now either. what should i do?

ok i fixed it,,,,, i checked the wrong fuse. the right stereo fuse in the fuse box inside the cab was blown. replaced it for a dollar. then i paid my buddy 20 bucks to rehook up all the wiring for the stereo cuz my fingers are all torn up from doing it twice already lol. this pioneer premier head unit is pretty nice. there are like 3 different eqs and you can controll every little detail of your sound.its also nice to have the cool displays because my screen is right above on the dash and it makes it look like i have all this cool stuff on my truck. ill post pics of my 4/6 drop and har;ley 20 inch rims this weekend,.,,,...,. peace
