33x12.50x16.5's on my 77.5, it was fine setting still, but when I wheeled it hard, it rubbed the fender edge. I put a add-a leaf (80 bucks) on the front and its fine.

Thanks for the input....... if there are any outthere with 17" plz chime in the taller the rim the smaller the tire is going to have to be......on another question re-arching of the spring was mentioned.

Does this re-arch last on the original spring and was it cost effective as opposed to getting new springs at the factory specs???

Thanks Pat
personally i would run a 285/70r17 which is approx a 33x11.25 but i have seen a 305/70r17 on a stock 78 F250 and it cleared but to me looked funny cause it was wide and short (not the look i like). but a 285 to me would look good and be fully functional.

Are you running 15's on a 3/4 ton?

It can be done with the correct amount of "off set" or "back set/spacing" what ever its called on the rims...and or maybe a little caliper grinding for clearance??

See how deep set his rims are?

Correct. I did have to shave a little material off the calipers. I wanna say the back spacing is around 3/12"-4"

I was just wondering because I tried running a 16" wheel with a -12 offset and they rubbed the bolt that holds the caliper on. My 16.5" wheels barely fit being 9-3/4" wide and a -12 offset.
