bumperbrackets

does anyone know where i can get bumper bracket(front and rear) for my 64' ford f-100? i cant seem to find them anywhere. also my heater tempeture **** and flashers are missing. any clue on how to hook them up? thanks

You can get the bumper brackets through JohnsF100.com. Unfortunately, MotorHaven doesn't have the older ones...

The ***** are available at many places. Dennis Carpenter has them for 5 bucks each. You need to use a die on the cable to mount them, but other than that, they're pretty straight forward. If you don't want to use a die to thread the cable ends yourself, you can pull the cable and drag it to a machine shop.

The die is about 6 bucks (ask me how I know ). The machine shop will either charge you 10 bucks or nothing depending upon the shop, the guy, the angle of the sun and the number of mockingbirds in the air.

thanks for the info on the bumper brackets. i should have worded that different about the control ***** though. what im looking for is info on where the cable goes and the actual hook-up under the dash or wherever it goes. im missing the whole mess (bracket for the switches, cables, *****, everything is just cleaned out of there)
