The 4 wires should be up above the pedals, if you take off the lower dash cover below the steering wheel. You can come through a grommet near the pedals or use the pass through wires that are under the hood driver side (4 colored wires together).
This is information you should be able to find in your owners manual. It will tell you the location of the wires, the amperage of each, and where the pass-through wires are.
