Why are we getting "Commercial" posts?

I keep seeing random "posts" from UTI at the top of the list. They all have the icon that indicates I have replied in the thread, even though I don't even bother to look at these. They do say "sponsored post" in the description.
They typically disappear after reading a different thread, then coming back to the main page. After a few more threads are read, another one will pop up.
I can do a pretty good job of ignoring these.......
These are neither intrusive, nor bothersome. It's the closest thing to "ads" I see, thanks to using firefox with ad block plus as my browser of choice.
