Ok i know its been covered on how to fix the actuator but how do you actually get the darn thing out i have a 94 f350 foor door and i cant for the life of me figure out how it comes out or my arms are just to fat to get all the way down to it
1 rivet holds the bracket to the door jamb portion of the door. Punch and drill it out, with the door panel off unbolt the outer 11mm window channel bolt and pull the channel out of the way. The actuator has a hook on one end, so lift and rotate the bottom up and away from the edge of the door to disconnect it from the linkage, then unplug the connector.
you don't have to drill the bracket. the bracket holds the actuator. Get a little mirror and look in there and see if you need to lift up or pull down to get it out of the bracket. your new actuator will have new rubber bushings that will fit nice and tight in the old bracket. no drilling or riveting required.
You don't have to, it's just waaaaaay easier than fiddling with the bracket inside the door. Older brackets have ears that are open on one end and you can pull the actuator out. Later ones have a bracket that completely enclose the end of the bushing so you actually have to pry them off.
I think it took me about 1 minute to get the rivet out.
Ok so i figured i can pull it up and out of the bracket but lord i cant get my hand on it to pull it i need to find someone with skinny arms, i dont want to drill anything prefer keeping it all in tact and stock which is getting harder and harder
